Wheel alignment after new springs

Did everybody get their wheel alignment re-done after having new springs put on? Gav @ K-Tec did his usual excellent job putting some Eibach Pros on my 172 today. Handles great, steering feels great, nothing wobbles. Will I shred my tyres if I leave it as is?

Would have thought any change in suspension geometry could possibly change settings/parameters.

Went to Northampton Motorsport on Saturday and they have a great system for measuring everything and setting up the car although expensive. Would recommend it as youd be suprised what they can find. Found my camber at rear to be more on right than left hence wanting to steer to the left. Can be like that out of the factory.

I had my alignment done when my car was lowered. I definitely think its worth doing.

I presume ur average garage can do that for you?

Alignment can but was well impressed with Northampton Motorsport. They are expensive but it shows in their set up. Measures camber, castor, toe in and alignment on a set up that is within 1mm level and can set up weighting to put 25% of car weight on each wheel for great handling.

You should have no worries with camber if you fitted the Pro springs...15F/20R drop.

MINE.....

Standard to 17s and the steering felt it had a mind of its own.

The 17s with the Eibach Pros sorted that...but then had the tracking done and it all went wooly again...has a mind of its own and follows the road camber/ruts. It was set to parallel but wish it was set with a bit of toe in, although they said it wasnt far out.

If I were you Id keep a regular check on the front tyres and if they start to show wear THEN get it checked....If it feels good then dont mess, wish I hadnt!!

where abouts you front Matty?? How much was the wheel alignment? Cos i might get the front lowered more on mine.
