Wheel and suspension questions

  172 mk1
Bit of a bone question, but will ph2 172 wheels fit on a ph1 172?

Also, can anyone suggest a decent aftermarket suspension kit, not too low but enough to sharpen things up a bit?

TIA

Bung some Eibach Sportline springs on it to start with (c.£150), and uprate the dampers if you can afford it!

Don't know about the wheels, but I would think they'd be fine. I've got old valver wheels on my 172 atm, and I'm pretty sure ph1 OZs would fit my car so I don't see why it shouldn't work the other way too.

The rears scrub on one side, I know that from experience!

OZ's are ET43, MK2 172 Alloys are ET45.

2mm makes all the difference.
