Wheel cleaning products?

Right what do people recommend to clean their alloys?

Im just using a cheap £2 spray from the local car shop which is rubbish and never gets anything off.
Whats the best out there and do you get what you pay for or is soap and water the best bet?
Also what would you use to scrup with? toothbrush, cloth, something more abbraisive?

I have some Megs APC which is good for removing hard stuff from your wheels.
Of the shelf you can get Auto Glym Engine cleaner which works fine on wheels.
Tar remover can also help, if you clay your car you can also use it on the wheels which really helps.
