Wheel locking nut socket

Does anyone know if its possible to buy the sockets from renault to match the locking nut on my car as i snapped a piece off my socket today and it only came with one socket

I was thinking about buying a new set that someone is selling on here for £18 delivered and it has 2 sockets with it.

wouldn't a new socket be close to £18 from reno anyway?

New socket is only £6 can take a while to get here

You need to know the dealers off your socket to order the right oen or it does say what the details are on your service manaul.

Cheers edde. I think the details are on the box and there is a sticker with my Reg on the socket. I think my car was from reno Manc. I don't know if i can be arsed waiting for one socket for £6 plus spending money on petrol to pick it up when i can get a full set with 2 sockets delivered to my door for £18 - Lazy aren't I!

I just thought - its a bit of a stupid question really - How am i going to get the originals off without the original socket!?! Looks like i'll have to but one from the steallers

You'll need to either get a locking removal tools on them or weld a nut onto them or get a new replacemnt socket or hammer an undersized socket onto them and wreck them in the process.

There loads of typres dealers don't keep them in stock.

Right. I just spoke to 2 dealers close to my area. The 1st one said i have to order it from an italian company who dont speak much english and it can take up to month, and id be better off getting them out another way and buying a new set.

2nd dealer said they can order them in in a few days as they dont use the itailian company and it will be £19.

Think i'll just buy a set off here and get them out another way!

i rang renault for one a few days ago and was told it would cost me £29 for a replacement! i managed to get them off without one though.
