Wheel Nuts

Does any one know how tight the wheel nuts are supposed be tightened to?

"Very tight" doesnt count BTW!

What setting should I have on a torque wrench?

I would like to know that too, i just stand on the wheel wrench normally!!!

You want them to be loose enough that you can get then off with the spanner supplied with the jack for the car...

God knows why people tighten their wheel nuts up until they need to stand on the wrench. There is no way they need to be that tight.

Trust me they are not going to fall out if you tighten them to the strength of your arm rather than your entire body weight
