Wheel protector?

  ph1 172
Ive got full race pads on the car at the moment and im getting bored of washing the wheels. I dont mind them looking dirty i just want to find something to protect the wheels so i dont have to have them painted again.

im looking for something to spray/paint on them. i seem to remember seeing some wax or something.

Any recomendations?

Two options. Either use SRP and EGP (3 coats) or buy some dedicated rim wax/sealant. I use SRP to polish, poorboys wheel sealant (2 coats, second straight after buffing off the other) then 2 coats of EGP 24 hours apart (or next wash). Washing the wheels then only requires hot, soapy water and a wash mitt, and a wheel brush for the insides face of the wheels

Use a proper wheel wax as car wax doesnt go up to the temperatue of wheel wax.

yeah i will do.

After a long blast on country roads the wheels are sometimes too hot to touch

May have to try some at some point ^

Surprised Rich hasn't had any ;)

With the 5 litres of AG Extra Gloss I have sat here I will be sticking to that!
