Wheel recolouring

Dre

  Ph2 iceberg 172
Hi guys, just got myself a nice iceberg 172 after years of my old 1.4s. Perfect in every way other than the fact the wheels have been sprayed jet black! Takes the edge off of the presence of the car as all the attention is on them. Anybody know anywhere in SE London or north of Kent where I can get these changed without costing the earth?
Thanks

Go to halfords, but some assorted sand paper/wet and dry paper, some primer and a choice of colour with clear coat. Sand away until the black is gone and you have a nice smooth surface (not completely smooth as it needs a slight key for the paint to hold too) then primer, dry, paint, dry, clear coat. Just follow instructions on the cans really. Bout £30 should do

Would that still work if there been professionally done. These have unfortunately. They look good just not my cup of tea. Need to upgrade my member package and see of someone wants a swap or something.

Yeah it's still just paint, might take a bit longer sanding down if the paint is really good

Cheers mate. Might have to try a tester first. Newbie to this sort of thing. Just finding my feet.
