Wheel refurb price!!!!

Got a set of cup turinis that need a refurb so i took them to a place in Milton Keynes called 'Pristine alloy wheel refurbishment"

They quoted £300 for all 4 wheels, saying that all the wheels they do are stripped to bare metal, imperfections repaired and then painted. They come with 6 month guarnatee.

Does this sound extortionate to anyone else?

Was £140 when I got mine powder coated, depends how much correction they need to make I guess

£170 from me, and i offer the same (including tyres off and on, new valves and balanced up)

that's powder coated any colour too

my mates brother ($torm Rider on here) quoted me £180 for refurb, painting gloss black and taking 2 buckles out of the rims

Coincidence, mine is going in tomorrow to get all four alloys fully refurbed. When I pick it up thursday, I'll let you know the price. I know it aint gonna be cheap though!

loan wheels are just steel 15inchers, nothing special £FOC i'm in Solihull, i'll return the wheels to your home address and refit them to the car for £0.20 per mile

Always get wheels powdercoated, don't ever bother getting them painted unless you can do it for free/pennies. That's the only reason mine are painted and not powdercoated.

Fred's is a good offer, if you came to us you'd be looking at 200 +vat at least.

I can come back for them mate as im never sure of my working hours it would be a bit hard to plan your visit to refit them.

One last question do they come back balanced ??

They have a unit next door to my work charged me £240 for all 4 and £80 tyre for pirelli nero, cracking job on the wheels though
