Wheel Refurbs

Have many of you had to refurb your wheels? Mine are in need of a makeover so am after some ideas. I'm thinking of a polished metal look but not 100% sure. Any pics to inspire me would be greatly appreciated

Had loads of wheels refurbed in the past. Its down to want you want from the wheels. I had polished dishies on a set of BBS rms i had before and i had to wash the wheels down with water and dry them after pretty much any big journey as they were just polished ally. If you get polished metal lacquered you loose a bit of the shine and if they start to corrode under the lacquered you are back to where you are now.

Other options are painted, diamond cut or powder coated?

i take it you have a ph1 v6 looking at your profile picture! i always think anthracite would look awsome against silver!

Yup, I did think about anthracite but slightly worried about loosing the standard look. I'm used to having to clean the wheels after every trip so not too worried about that. Tough choice though I have to admit.
