I have a mk1 172 and have been offered some genuine 172 cup turinis at a good price. Will they have any effect on the performance of the car?

I had heard rumours that fitting the 16s could knock 0.5 second off the 60 time. My brother owns a mk2 172 and i dont want to be slower than him.

The overall wheel diameter is about an extra 1-->2cm, so wont make a huge difference! I have Mk2 16" alloys, not noticed any difference!

If you no want them Ill have em!
