Wheel Wax

  16v Dynamique
Either Poor Boy's Wheel Sealant or Chemical Guy's Wheel Guard. Although bear in mind the PB's Wheel Sealant can be layered.

Most wheel sealants are designed to stand up to higher temps than normal waxes. The Zymol Cleaner Wax wont last that well on them due to the heat involved and the fact it is not very durable on bodywork.

Though there are other of the shelf sealants such as Autoglym Extra Gloss Protection will last as long or longer than some of these specialist wheel products.

Problem with the Rimwax is it contains cleaners so strips of the sealants below or previous layers. EGP base topped with Poorboys or Swissvax wheel sealants here.

I would never know that! Look shiney tho! :)

If its a customer of friends cars I use CG Wheel Guard as it cleans the wheels up nicely and protects them fairly well.

On my own or famillies cars I normally clean using SRP then EGP as Rich says, although on the 172 I currently have SRP, EGP, 2 layers of JetSeal and some Collinites! Should last for quite some time! Although I have found that there is less brake dust build up when you use the sealants alone, the wax seems to stick to it a little bit more.

Think next time I polish them up I will just go with layers of JetSeal.
