Wheel Weight

Anybody know whether fitting 16" OZ Super Turismo's will loose conciderable amount of weight compared to standard 172 alloys? Any help appreciated, Cheers

oz super t 16" = 19.6lbs or 8.9kg
std 16" 172 alloy = 22lbs or 10kg
yes you will loose weight

super t's are quite heavy.. superleggera's are a lot lighter.. 16x7 are 14.6lbs = 6.6kg.. now thats a better weight saving

Want lower wheel weight?

Put a smaller diameter wheel on. A standard Clio Sport 15x7 wheel only weighs 7.5 kgs. You can only beat that in a 16x7 by finding the lightest ones available.
