Wheels for Rallying

  '02 172ff
I am looking to get a second set of wheels for Rally/tarmac use after a resent pot hole incident which broke my road wheels.

Does anyone know if steel wheels are a better for this application when meeting pot holes or should I stick to alloys? I assume the steels are easier to fix if they get dented?

Cheers.

As clio luke says, comp mo's are perfect for rallying, loads of air can get to your brakes and strong to boot!
Just so happens I have a set of comp mo's for sale/swap in white if your interested.
