When I turn car / stereo off...

Little bit hard to explain but when ever i turn off my stereo or car, so basically when ever the amp gets turned off my connected speakers make a loud like popping / cracking noise for just a second, like a discharge of the electricity or something.

Is this normal?

you have your amp connected to the speakers going "pop" yes? what have you attached your remote lead to?using OEM stereo?aftermarket do you have the memory wires correct?

Yeah the ones connected to the AMP and I have a aftermarket Sony Xplod head unit.

And what are the 'memory' wires?

you didnt answer my question,where did you put the remote wire on the stereo?
the memory wires are the red and yellow,does your stereo save settings and stations when you turn it off then back on again?
