When is the Wii out and where is the best place to pre order?

I pre ordered a few weeks back. In 2 places as I want one a lot.

Cant remember the dates it was on the days both Game and Gamestation started taking pre orders!

December 8th, I've pre-ordered with Play.com on the day they listed it, but I'm not in a hurry for it so if it's pre-Christmas delivery I will be happy.

I don't think anyone can guarentee one, and apparently interest has been huge so Nintendo are expecting to sell out (and obviously the DS will more than likely sell out as well)

I pre-ordered with my local Game branch, got a letter in the post today saying I'm guaranteed one it even says I'm to go to the shop on 11th Nov. to get a 'pre order pack'.
