the ph1 clio 2 was not the most attractive car though (in non rs guise anyway) imo.

As long as it doesnt look like the humped back corsa vxr they should leave it as it is. The new Corsa is Fiat Multipla ugly.

What does everyone reckon? Considering the Clio 2 was face lifted after less than 3 years.
Its not far off IMO.

Its been out form what 55 plate so I woulnd't expect much chnage wise no real need.

They face lift to get the sales and sell a new a "new" car.

a few years ago i was talking to a engineer for Ford and he said they start working on facelift versions before the car has even gone on sale. Headlamp and dash revisions take around three years so he said

Yep they design the cars to take modifications they never build a car which canot be chnaged/improved.

Renault have said for years they want to bring updates in quicker and quicker but at the end oif the day sales/the market drives chnages more than what can be done.

it will only be face lifted if they deem it necesarry. A lot of cars launched around the time of the mk2 clio were face lifted instead of replaced simply because tastes changed. This could well be the case of the current run of cars, but it all depends on sales

Well the Ford Ka hasn't had a proper facelift since it was launched over a decade ago, so goes to show if a product is selling there is no need to change it.

It won't get an LCI revision until at least 2010 is my prediction.

It'll be facelifted in autumn 2008, only minor modifications, then an all new Clio in 2011. Every 3 years is the change with every 6 the new model
