thats the biggest pile of sh*t i have read all morning! the oil temp sender is located just to the left of the oil filter as you look at it it will be a green plug that plugs into a white one, it just undos with a socket or a spanner (quite a big one but cant remember how big) the sender you are referring to is the oil level sender which is next to the dipstick

think u should do ur homework rich 1.2 oil temp and level is on one sender located next to the dipstick on all clio 16v engines ive seen lol

Ok so where is it exactly?

I cant even see the oil filter! the engine is so crammed at the front, how do you get to it??

What these guys said - its to the left of the oil filter on the front of the block.

Youll get to the oil filter/sensor from undernieth the front. Alternatively, take the bonnet off, slam panel off - youll then be able to pull the radiator forward enough to get access between it and the inlet manifold. If your radiator has a plastic shrowd, pull that out too while youre working.
