I can't find a decent diagram containing all information about the suspension parts for the clio II ph1 172 2002 :(

  MG ZR x2, Polo, CTR
1*2's don't have drop links.
The ARB is mounted directly to the wishbones on the front, and there isn't one on the back (unless its aftermarket)

1*2 is used instead of 172 and 182.

Yes, phase 1 or 2, it will not have anywhere for this part to go. The ARB is slightly different to most cars as it clamps directly to the suspension arm, rather than having a 'link'. The lower engine models have them, so whoever sold them to you will have been confused with that.

Just cancel them, or send back. It's not your fault if they were advertised for your car. Where did you order from?

AFAIK no Clio II came with drop links. They did however have bushes to replace the drop links.

The photo you show is one derivative of the bushes ; these seem to be fitted to the smaller engined cars. The 1*2s came with this type:

The dealers order the wrong ones as well ; It's taken me almost a month to get the right bushes as a result of a staff f**k up. Initially when I wanted simply the inner and outer ARB bushes they ordered both types of outers. I made them aware of this after double checking, and then I ended up waiting 3 weeks for the correct outers to arrive. But they have arrived. Hopefully the car will quieten down with them fitted :).
