Where do I go from here?

  Petrol Blue 182.
Had the car for nearly 2 years now and I think I've taken things as far as I can go for now in the terms of styling, im just getting bored.

at the present the car is in a little bit of a state standerd front bumper after my accident, still on its arse on glow in the dark wheels :dead: and just suffering from general wear and tear. plans where to re-smoove the fron bumper and paint wheels white just to kinda bring it back together a little.

Ive decided I want to move away from the whole "euro" scene, kinda been there done that and I've always fancied hill climbs/sprints, so do I go down the route of that? (after looking into it, which I havn't) striped out, one bucket seat, engine mods (keeping it as a 1.2, Im lead to belive there are classes etc).

Just wanted peoples thoughts on what direction to go in next, anyone done hill climbs etc before or could help me out with information, or just what people think I should do with the car now?

Thanks.

hmmmmm I havn't really searched into it that much so dont really have any info on classes etc, was just a thought. It is something that I would like to persue though

it's not going to be competitive, but that's not the point for everyone

if you strip the interior, it'll be in one of the mod prod classes (which'll make it even less competitive)

i'll have a look for a link in a moment, but on the MSA site, there's a tool that brings up local motor clubs against your postcode, which'd probably be your best starting point. sprints are a much safer way of starting incidentally, as you've often got banking on hillclimb courses, to tip the car up on

As said think it's new car time, if it were me I'd just tidy the 1.2 up get it back on respectable wheels and sell it on.

Then use what ever money you get from the sale and maybe purchase a nice tidy 172 if the moneys allow?! no point throwing money into the 1.2 itl be a money pit and will not compete as a hillclimb/sprint car as I am assuming the likes of the s1 rallye will be the obvious weapon in that catagory, but maybe I'm wrong!?
