Where does this wire go?

My boot wouldn't open, i undid stuff, got it open and the mechanism to open/close boot isn't working. Found this but for the last 30 mins i can not for the life of me find where it goes! There is one further right but this has no home!

It goes in the grey bit on the picture!

Edit: IIRC thats the connector for the rear wiper? But there should be a connector in the grey bit.

The one to the right of it (green/black wire) thats for the boot light.

Oh really? The black bit goes into the grey bit but i cant find another connection for this bit on the grey bit :s

Cant really make it out from the picture. The white connector with red/cream/blck wire looks like rear wiper motor connector. It appears you dont have a rear wiper so thats why its loose. If you've got a connector going into the grey bit it should be working.

Ah right ok thanks, i have no wiper to that solves that one! But my boot lock still doesn't work, any ideas?
