Where does written off car go now?

Wrote my 182 off last Friday but was just wondering what happens to it now....its been inspected by the garage and received an offer for it yesterday. Does it go to a scrappy now or do I have an option of somehow getting it back?

Insurance will give you an offer to buy it back I think, unless they decided it's CAT A/B I think.

as long as there's no chassis damage then you should be able to buy it back,cat c and d your ok. whether they will take 20% of the offer you have recieved for keeping the car aswell i dont know, otherwise it will be going to a scrapyard somewhere
