Where is alarm sounder?

My car alarm doesnt make any noise. So im guessing the sounder has packed up.

Where is it located, and is it easy to change?

I had a look but couldnt see where it was.

Any help would be appreciated

(The car is a ph1 172 by the way)

Yep as matt says if its the standard fit then its under the passenger side skuttle. Bit of a ballache to get to, wiper arms off then you can get the panel off to remove the whole wiper motor assembly then you can get to it.
