Where is the 172 alarm located?

Had a search through some old threads, and I seem to be getting different answers..

Where would the alarm be for my 172?

Is it under the wiper motor, or inside the dash board?

Either way, how do I disconnect it?

Any info would be great, thanks!

Hazard problem I'm having ATM mate, I've been reading it could be something to do with the alarm, so I'm going to have a proper fiddle with it before I take it to Renault.

It's under the scuttle panel as said.
If you disconnect it be warned though, it will have an internal battery and no doubt start sounding...
