Where is the best place in the u.k for a re map?

Not interested in doing major mods and spending 1000's so just changed air filter and want a remap.

Anyone know best place to get it done and a price?

Been looking at ktec.

before anyone says "search the forum" and i have but everyone just seems to argue on re map threads so i needed to start a new one.

Sounds like you're looking for a generic map. You'd be cheaper buying an RSTuner for that and save a few £'s.

I heard they stopped releasing the downloads for the clio 2?

And it seems a bit complicated to hook it all up and if im honest i dont trust myself to do it.

IIRC you can still get the downloads new licences for them.

Mobile ones? You will be spending good money, make sure you give it to the right person.

Im just confused by the whole thing. Just need a place local that is reliable, i know re maps dont make a huge difference but its the only thing im gonna do to the car so i need to make sure its right

you're nice and close to K-tec. I trust them enough to send customers there for custom maps. They mapped a car last week that I put together recently with a very good result

Nothing! This is the one mod that i will do to the car.

Actually i lie, ive changed the standard paper panel filetr with a k & n panel filter.

Im not one to spend heaps of money on a clio mate. if i want more speed then il buy a faster car.

How far is ktec from you? I'm guessing a fair distance. The above is a cracking deal tbh. Although if your thinking of replacing your exhaust, decat etc do that first. What you don't want to do is get the car remmaped do more stuff then get it mapped again.

Even out the power delivery. Longer rev limiter and better throttle response ect who wouldnt
