where is the oil dipstick

sorry i just cant seem to dfind it on my 182. I;ve done 10,600 miles and its flashing up oil and the "SERV" so i guess its low.

i check mine every morning, just looking at the dash

ive done 4000 miles checked it about 10 times and changed it once you want to be ashamed of yourself

Dont trust the oil indicator in the car.. The ONLY way to check is via the dipstick!!

The official Renault spec for acceptable oil consumption is 1 litre per 1000Km or 625miles..

mine used quite a bit up until 6000Miles then I got an oil /filter change done to elf excelliuim ldx 5w40 and it has not used ANY since, now on 9000miles.

yeah i had about 1cm on the dip stick. I bought Magnetek the improved version which is supposed to improve effeciency. My head hangs in shame, my old 1.2 clio went low on oil after about 50,000 miles so i was shocked that it had all gone (well nearly all gone) after only 10k.
