Where to begin.....

Chop back to the original loom and get another iso connector on there.

Nice one mate , will that work with a pioneer head unit or will i need another adaptor/plug?

So the one listed on ebay is for the clio mate?

Its just a standard iso plug that it would've come with standard, the pioneer headunits adapter will just connect as standard. That loom isn't specific to any car, its just an iso loom.

Erm... just a thought, if this is universal how will i know which wire goes to what :S

Thats the fun involved, the iso plug should have whats what on it but there will probably be a few specific pins that it won't cover. Loom wise you'll have to try and work it out from whats here now unfortuantely. God knows why people go chopping it like that anyway in the first place, its just a mission to sort it after.

Think there's a diagram on here somehwere that explains where each wire needs to go... Couldn't see it from a quick search but certain there is one around.

Rough idea of the cables for you!
Red = perm live
Yellow = ignition live
Black = Ground
Pink = Carphone ( i get this nonsense from haynes i swear )
Violet = ABS connection of some type?

Other connector
Beige = LH front ( don't know if positive or neagtive )
Pink = LH front ( opposite to above :rasp

Brown = RH Rear ( again don't know polarity )
Grey = RH Rear ( opposite )
Pink = LH Rear ( and again)
Beige = LH Rear (opposite)

Green = RH Front (again)
Brown = RH front (opposite)

I hate fitting audio to mates cars if it's a hothatch. You can bet your ass some monkey (Halfords employee or otherwise) has been in there hacking everything to pieces if the car is 5 years or more old.
