The prices of these have gone absolutely mental. I sold my glacier white which had everything on it, speed lines, Recaros, BT, Akrapovic for £6k 2 years ago.

I'd argue that they're still under-valued in the current market. Same with all RS Meganes bar the Clio V6 and R special editions. When you look at prices nowadays across the board, a 200, R26 or 250 are all total bargains.

I did message the guy and asked if he had any more pictures and he just sent me the same pictures as in the advert, the people selling these cars are pretty hard work haha

Saw the one up north earlier.

It's far less tidy than the pictures suggest, front bumper didn't fit great, rear tailgate starting to rust a little under the window (seems quite common). No history since 2017, belts due this year, tyres pretty much dead. The roof wrap was awful, really poorly fitting and bubbling at the front. It's not a £6k car imo.

They’re absolutely bonkers money. My mate paid 5500 for his LY 200 with quite a lot of good mods….. Akra, OZ, Bilsteins, etc.
I told him at the time he was bonkers. Clearly paid off for him though. It’s easily worth an extra 2k now.

If you are really looking for a good rs200 cup I'd consider selling mine at the right price, I've had it 2 years and have replaced a lot of part's! New timing belt and water pump, new radiator, new ss manifold, new wiper motor, new battery, reconditioned alternator, 2 full services, recently 2 new front tyres, alloys reconditioned! There's probably stuff I can't remember as well 🤔
Full cup pack has recardos with slight wear on bolsters Only problem is I'm based in n.ireland Mileage is 89k

People keep saying the bubble is gonna burst soon. But they still seem to be switching hands pretty regularly, which would suggest it’s gonna continue to me.

I’ve seen some listed for 10k. Back in the day you were verging on being about to buy a proper Cup Race car for that.

I love it when people say they test drove lots of cars and theirs was the best. I can find 2 within half an hours drive, who the f**k drives hours every weekend to test drive cars that are miles away? It's not like buying a base fiesta and there's loads on your doorstep!

Yes AG or LY with recaros and low miles are but a sub 100k mile 200 in white is what, £4K or so? They look great in white IMO as it shows off the curves and wide wings. That’s where my sweet spot would be for value for money. I always wanted a racing blue one but seeing mine next to one I don’t feel disappointed

It’s really not a lot of money for the fun factor. Not a lot else I can think of that handles and has that fun feel for the money?

If you set a £7k limit on eBay, what else are we getting of a similar type of car?

Prices are very high relative to where they were. Used car prices will come back down but suspect I used Renaultsport prices will hold fairly firm, seem to have more appreciation nowadays and the company is now defunct.

More are getting written off, broken or snapped up for race series'. A 200 is the last ever NA hot hatch, ever, never again, this is it. I think prices will only go up.

I'm thinking along those lines, they've offered £3.7k for my Civic p/x, if they'll do the Clio for the Civic + £3.5k I'll do it. They said they'll service the Clio but I'm happy to/would rather do that myself and like you say I won't use the warranty unless it blows up as it's just not practical.

This is exactly the reason we bought our 200 a couple of years ago. I had my first when I was 18, so I get to relive my youth and I also think they will be static or go up over the coming years.
