where to detail your car?

where do you guys think is the best place to detail you car,wash/polish.
am guessing you guys like to keep it out the sun in your garage ect...
im lucky enough a work in a big garage so nice and shaded inside.

On my drive, but its a bit of a mare when the sun's out, have to wait until it has gone past the side of my neighbours house.

BLACK CARS + SUNSHINE = PERSONAL NIGHTMARE!

my GF garage is too small to park in lol, even in my clio.
if we emptied my garage we could fit mine and my brothers clios in nose to tail, but its only just wide enough to get the drivers door half open lol.

i ty to find a nice big shadow off the black of flats next to me failing that, i do the shaded half then turn the car and get the other half.

polishing in the sun is all nice and dandy but its like trying to clean your house windows with the sun beamin in, whats left, smear! an thats a bugger an on a black car its like tryin to rub tar off the road with a sponge, it just aint gonna happen, lol

my pearl black bakes enough in the sun without trying to clean and polish it in!
the shade rocks for detailing!
