You need to take it from either the ecu or the coil pack wiring. There's 3 wires at the coil pack, but you don't want the thickest wire of the 3. The other 2 are the ones to tap into - you just need to decide which one to cut and join up with.Fitting a shift light to my PH1 172 and i need to sap into a wire for the tacho or a wire which caries an engine speed signal. has anyone done this and know wheres best to tap into?
