where to get Exalto Tyres from (172 PH2)

I want to change my tyres to the Mitchlin exaltos but having problems finding them for my PH2 172, i think its 195/45/16

I'm not 100% sure on the standard set by the 172 wheels. I know on the 182 alloys, they can fit either 195 or 205 spec. I'd guess it would be the same for the 172?

keep in mind if your OE tyre size is 195/45/16 and you go for a 205/45/16 your speedo will be incorrect as the tyres are bigger

a lot of people presume that because both tyres are '45' they would be the same wall height, but thats NOT the case, the 45 is a percentage of the width, and 45% of 205 is obviously going to be more than 45% of 195, therefore bigger tyres

just make sure u do "under" the limit when going past a speed camera if you got 205 tyres on!

when doing 60mph on a 205, you will actually be doing 61mph

I called Costco yesterday, they are at £88 fitted, but on special order for the 195/45.

im confused which Exalto tyres to get,
195/45/16 im looking at (205's are too expensive)
i noticed some places say XL eithers do not, also 80v or 84v
which ones do i need?

Ring Endyke Tyres in Hull 01482 845180, i have just had a quote of £345 for four 205/45/16 PE2's delivered. £86.25 p/tyre. Its a little bit more if you bought them in pairs.
