where to get metal tyre valves

tried ebay but juet get millions of valve caps and sleeves?

anyone know where i can get metal tyre valves?

Tyre place years ago told me they were a bad idea as they corrode.

My mate bought some metal anti-theft / tyre deflation ones for his old motor as he used to park the car in a dodgy public area during work times and was always getting his valves and caps messed with.

Iv'e had two sets of metal caps for mine. All been nicked :dapprove:

Then I tried a pair of locking caps.

I wouldn't buy any more of those either. You need the special key to undo them. Not a problem as such, but I recall several times thinking.... hmm I must check the tyres - but just couldn't be bothered :eek:

Now back to cheapo plastic type :approve:

they do custom BBS wheel setup's yea sounds ironic but im only going off an advert
 
Ask the company you bought your wheels off. You can get really stubby valves for cheap. Dont be mistaken for high pressure valves as they are really expensive.
