Which airboxes will fit a Ph1 172?

I need an airbox and have seen 182 boxes/Ph2 172 advertised but they look very different?

What can I get away with buying?

Oh its going into a Mk1 btw.

Ph1 172 will take - Ph1 172 box, laguna v6 box (JMS style setup), or anything like a BMC CDA on a 90 degree elbow.

The ph2 box is no only poor in comparison, but I think you'll struggle to fit it.

EDIT: You can get the v6 airbox from Wests Renault off here for not a bad price iirc.

my ph1 airbox wont fit in my bay so you might struggle to get one to fit without relocating the battery, im having to use a pipercross open filter for the moment

The orginal MK1 racers used a ph1 type airbox, with modification it fits.

also hill powers old indcuction kit that moves the filter to the scuttle where the washer bottle is is a good one too though HP isnt trading any more
