Which Amp?

Okay well need some help going to bite the bullet and buy myself a Orion Hcca in the next couple of weeks but need some suggestions on which an to get to power the thing, any ideas?

Enclosure type & size ????
Coil configuration & impedance ????
Cars power supply ????

These subs notoriously like power....I'd be looking for around 2.5kw rms into your chosen subs overall final impedance....Not cheap....

You will require a decent starting battery coupled to a good second battery mounted in the boot area, even this may not be enough depending on how you use it & your current alternator output....

I know a few who have opted for the Orion D5000 amp & are well satisfied with this pairing.....

Yer well i was thinking about the D5000, but they have stoped making them now i believe. The size is 12inch running at 2ohms, would be gettin an extra battery and upgrading the alternator probs looking to spend around £400 for the amp, and not sure to use a ported or sealed box.
