Which ball joints euro car parts

Euro car parts list 2 different types for my car. Are the pics accurate ? Im not not sure how you tell apart from the top of the joints look different in the photo and mine is not same diameter all the way like pic 2.

Was it a specific model which had a particular type ?

should be the one with the m12 bolt hole in the fitment info instead of the m10.
