DOT 4 is fine steve, why you topping it up?? (check pads first before you top up, low brake fluid = knackered pads)

DOT4 is more than sufficient. 560+ Deg! Not a chance in hell you'll get to that temp. Castrol DOT4 or Putoline.

I have already purchased some Delphi Lockheed DOT 5.1 brake fluid. But if DOT 5.1 is worse or need changing more often that DOT 4.1 then I will buy DOT 4.1.

Demon tweeks keep it in stock but I agree since Halfords got rid of it it can be difficult.

Still theres a few places online sell it.

we use super blue a fair bit now, awesome stuff, but our 5.1 we use is spot on, i suggest changing fluid every 12months anyway

i have got castrol response dot 4 race fluid and i am running with performance friction 97 pads and have never had a problem with it was as cheep as chips from demon tweeks

I got my super dot 4 from the place that run out of Coombe, Merlin Motorsport I think? Got it along with my ITG filter. Although I see the price is up on when I got some last.
