But would that persuade you over a car 3 years newer...?

It's either THAT 172, or a 182.
I'm not really interested in any other 172's now as I have enough for a decent 182.

Black Gold standard '05 plate. You'll find it much easier to move on when you decide to sell.

IMO Rich's is overpriced, and apart from having the special paint job, its no different to a lot of cars on here that are probably going for £2-2.5k less. [of a similar age]

Should have painted the bump strips on the doors tbh. Wouldve looked better. Instead it looks like a mod'd 1.2

I dont mean to offend Rich by those comments either. It looks like its been looked after fanatically and the attention to detail on the paint job is second to none.:D

Depends wether your going to keep the car.

Selling a white 172 will be difficult come resale time. The standard 182 will sell relatively easy.

However, If you're going to keep it for a good few years, I'd buy the 172 all day long.

The white 172 looks amazing, but its way overpriced.

It just depends how desperate you are to buy and how long you want to wait because a 172 at that price isnt going to sell tomorrow.

But as they stand, id buy the 182. Just not in that colour.

I think the White 172 will be very novel (and im sure the only one around) which may cause you problems after a few years, as soon as you mention re spray or anything to that tune people automatically think accident damage.

Personally i prefer the white one as its absolutley lovley, but for practicallity of future sell on value the black would be more viable imo
