Hi Guy's
I'm about to sell my mercedes and get a renaultsport clio.

Which is the better car? My wife has a 2000 titanium silver phase 1.
I love the shiftlight and alloy bonnet and the fact it's the lightest.
(i think)
But i want to have the best allround
For weekend, fast road, trackdays
etc
Going to spend about £2500-£3k
Is a 182 ff as good handling as a 172cup? How does the handling compare on the ph1?
the power isn't really an issue as i'll end up playing with the engine.

Ph2 172 cup is the lightest 1011kg i think the ph1 is 1035 kg iirc

A well looked after Ff 182 gets my vote if not.

You can get a decent one for just over the 2k mark if you use your noodle... The other grand and the miles should come down and condition go up...

Be careful, some people ask top dollar for shite...

as an all rounder I'd have a 182 ff or a trophy if you could stretch to it, for track only a cup for me

Thanks guys i've seen a 60k, 182, with history and they'll do the cambelt but don't really want them to. looks like an ff in the pics up for £2995.
