Which dashboard fits?

Hi all,

I'm going to flock my dash but would prefer to buy one first.

Which models of Clio will fit into a 172?

Any phase 2 dash top I would've thought?

I'd of thought so too, guess it maybe just easier if i find a replacement ph2 172 dash.

Any one know if the lower spec models fit?

Sure Iceman/Chrispy and the lot have MK1 1.2 top dashes in their PH2's. Barron has a low down authentique dash or something in their PH1 etc.

Easier to buy a dash and have it flocked then put it straight into mine, saves driving around for a while with nothing in the car!

I'd sell on my dash then.

Second thoughts, someone might not want to buy it. Depends on how much I can pick up the second dash for.

Mine was £9 on ebay (phase 1 though)

Try local scrapyards? Might have one.

So do MK1 pre 98 Clio's fit into the 172's then?

No. You need a dash top from a Clio with the same dash as yours, so any mk2 ph2.

If you didnt have any dash at all (like Chrispy and others) then you could use the mk1 dash top.
