which de cat for mk1 172?

how about going for a sports cat it saves the hassle of having to put the cat back on for the MOT and i know a lot of people have them on here but i think they sound raspy

Devil is the only off the shelf one for the ph1 172 AFAIK.

What would someone like powerflow charge for a decat as I'm looking for one for my MK2?
Would the Lambda position throw up any issues?

I'm sure it's a Janspeed for the ph2 172.

Ive got a Janspeed on my Mk1 172. There was a sticker on that said Clio Cup or something, but it still fitted fine !...im sure there really designed for the mk2's anyway?

Went to a Powerflow dealer near me when i was first after one and they were just gonna cut my cat out and weld in a piece of pipe !! Errrrrr no thanks i want a easy life come mot testing time so Janspeed it was !!

Devil products always have been on the loud side.

No its very quiet. You can have a convo at any speed without having to shout !!

Ok its louder than having a cat but not loud enough to annoy. I do a lot of motorway miles and fast A roads and i never notice its there.

Mind you its running along side a Magnex. Might be different with another make
