Which engine do I have?

Hello,

Not sure which engine I have, cant see it stamped anywhere and dont have the manual to hand. Its a mk2 ph1 1.6 16v 1999... so its either the K7M or K4M.
Reason I need to know is im changing the oil and the K7M is 3.5 litres and the K4M is 4.25 litres. Would Like to know by tomorrow because I want to take advantage of the Opie Oils deal on at the minute.

Yeh suppose, that would make sense tbh.

The 1.4 16v is K4J and is 4.25litres as well (excluding filter)

As above the K7M was used on some early mk2ph1s. Its a 1.6 8v. Easiest way to tell is that the engine cover should have 16v on it if its a K4M, also if its a K7M the exhaust manifold runs down the front of the engine, not the back like a K4M

my first engine was a K7M then.
