Which gearknob suits a ph1 172 interior?

Suggestions please! Dont fancy getting the metal 1 anymore as teh plastic one is cold enough in winter!

carbon copy nice pedals do your feet slip off them in the wet? also you need to get the clio silver door handles ould finish that off a treat

the pedals are standard Renaultsport. they are not too slippy in the wet.

i need to get some Mk2 172 door handles though. you're right.

I dont think the chrome door handles would go to well with the interior tbh, the chrome of the lever would clash so badly against the silver of the door handle, I sprayed one up a silver to match and I didn't even like that against it just prefer the dark blue to go with the elecy switches and speaker covers, that why I haven't gone for them.

It doesnt imo. Ive got them and they look really good will see if i can find a pic, really need to get some more up to date interior pics. Im tempted just to get the ph1 172 knob as its the only thing except the stereo surround I need to complete my interior.

Yeah i got the dash but its just sitting in the garage at the minute as i havent got round to doing anything with it, i have a silver Momo gear knob at the minute, i do lke the all silver Richbrook ones also

Doesnt look like much work to get the dash of from the looks of that thread about fitting sports dials, I'd love one but can guess they a worth quite a bit for being so rare.

The top dash is a piece of piss, thats all thats needed for the dials. However the vents and stereo bit are teh lower dash and you would need to remove pretty much everything! If anything Id be tempted to put in a ph2 dash instead.

I got a clio 1.4 16v my cousin unfortunatly (for him anyway) wrote off his clio sport by someone going into the side of him, wasnt hurt at all a couple of months ago, so the day after i nicked the whole interiour out the dials the lot, got some pictures of the also with the door handles to.. hes got a trophy now grrr

Thats how mine looks except without the knob and gaitor which tbh i aint keen on. Will have to hoover it and steal a camera this week! Maybe tomorrows job if its dry!

Right finally got some pics, only problems being Ive not had a chance to clean it and it was dark! But hey ho, here they are anyway!

looks very nice john! the chrome handles look ok actually but dont think they would look too good in mine, the leather its too lighter colour and the blues look ok.

Know what you mean, th ecolour difference doesnt really seem obvious in real life, just in pics, weird!

Yeah the 172 dials would look good in your car vinny, dont know how well they work on different engines though. Mine are teh standard white dials you get with a 'sport'.

No its not the 172 one, its a momo one that is very similar apart from where momo have decided they want t oplant a badge on the top of it, will get a pic later

sorry dude thought you had the same car as me and John but cant be if you got those dials. Never seen them before, they look nice and actually look quite sporty is that the the speedo right in the middle?? would look nice if they were white background tho.
