which headunit

Hi guys,

Ive just sold my old Sony CDX-M850 MP headunit and I am looking to buy an Alpine unit but dont know what to get.

Ive got around £250-300 budget, any suggestions

one of these, all grat unit, not massive differences i dont think, just some added features



PS - good choice, ditc sony move to alpine!!

Yeah thanx ill look at all of them, everyone says to ditch sony and go Alpine so I am. Any reasons why??

The other querstion is wots the benefit between 50wX4 or 60wX4? Is it guna make tht much difference is sound quality?

Alpine any time............Take a listen to any Alpine and then a Sony. You know why everbody says Alpine then. Pyre sound qual.

50x4 will not give out 50x4 on most units, more like 15 rms each channel, but the alpine units that have 60x4 are far supirior, they draw too much power to be connected to the standar loom! they need a new power (from battery) and earth. It will give speakers more power, so speakers will play at same/higher volumes with putting stress on the HU and so less distortion will occur.

Sony are more, bling looks and its a name poeple know, its mass market stuff, alpine are for people who want more than the ability to play cds ect they want quality
