which high end components??

Having fitted 2 self powered alpine subs under my v6 seats..which sound fantastic I must say...

Its now time to get the speakers sorted out... I need some very very good components up front 13cm's and some coaxials for just behind the seats..

They will be powered by an Alpine PDX 4.150 digital amp...which runs 150w RMS x 4...and this will be running from my pioneer DEHP-77MP head unit..

any suggestions?? rainbow??

well i have only listed components as there is no point in having them in the rear especially if the subs are under your seats,just be drowned out

I have rainbows...they sound ace...i have also been told that any of the DLS range are also very good.

as for only running fronts and subs....with the position of the vee's rear speakers I prefer the surround sound style of all 4 speakers...

plus the subs are under the seats right at the front..and are only 6.5" per side..so while providing suprisingly punchy bass...they are turned down a fair bit...so as to provide a balanced system...I dont want chav bass or anything..

well....the amp is meant to be the danglies...so thought...might as well get the speakers to go along with it...

right, I'm gonna suggest something that probably no one else will, but I think a brand called exile are amazing. An American brand, the guy who designed phoenix gold's new range of speakers got fed up and left, starting his own company, of which exile is the result. From personal experience (I have the 5 1/4 inch components and triaxial's in my car) they are amazing quality, and your amp will really get the best of them, as they are 125 Watts RMS for the comps. The other good thing with these speakers are that you do not pay for the brand name as much as most other high end brands. The components set me back 200 quid and the triaxials were 75 quid. If you can find a set of these, they are so worth it, superb value for money and quality.
