Which of these speakers are better?

I can get hold of a few bits and pieces slightly below trade price... but I'd rather not buy them if they sound sh*te.

I don't mind paying the extra for good quality sound (within reason), but we have to bear in mind that road noise will drown out subtle differences in sound.
