Which of these two

Guys really cant decide, after talking to helen etc Today, which ecu should I get after finding out my car is running too lean.

1. Hill Power Group N

2. Power Engineering REMAP

Andy at GDI is tooo expensive boohooo

well that is the problem, cant find anywhere near me that will do it on the rollers.

Nick at hill power said that the group ns they do will be suited to the specific vehicle and will take into account my mods (asked for engine number)

depends on what your mods are.the group n is ok if you havent gone really far with the mods.

surely the grou[p n ecu only caters for a specific type of car. whats the likely hood yours will match it exactly? i rekon unlikely...best off having it all remapped. or finding out the group n ecu setup and trying to match that :confused:

the group n can cope with inlet and exhaust mods(exhausts,ik kits,manifolds,cats etc)but if you go onto serious headwork and cams then you need a remappable chip to get the best out of the mods.

Well at the mo. I have an IK and a cat back system,

Group n will probably be ok bit worried about the emissions though!

I have posted the same topic on the RSClub and a few people have said not to touch hill power chip, because have heard alot of problems about it especially for the mk1 172, aaarrrgggghhhhh HELP

Right I cant find anywhere near hear that does rolling road tuning for the clio, So am going to order the Hill Power chip tomorrow
