which oil for 172

looking at doing an oil/filter change for the 172...and was wondering which oil to use in it.

i have got 10 litres of brand new 15w-40 p-synthetic in the garage and dont know whether this is suitable for it. i dont use the car for hard driving..but the car barely gets warm as i do 2.5miles to and from work dailey.

Any fully synthetic 5w40w-10w40w will do.
