Im about to service my 2000 'x'reg clio 172, I want to change the engine oil and the gearbox oil. Which is the best to use???

For the engine either a 10w-40 semi or as a quality option a 5w-40 fully synthetic.
For the gearbox a good 75w-90 again semi or full synthetic.
