Which oil?

I,m wanting to change my oil with some decent stuff as i normally use my local garage for oil changes. Can someone tell which is the best to use & what grade please

5w 40 have a look on opieoils website or section on here.

I got recommended 5w-40, spoke to the 'oilman' off here and opted for the Gulf competition stuff. Got it done yesterday and it might be my imagination but it seems to drive better. Like i say prob my imagination lol. Just speak to him matey, really helpfull.

What make should i use ie castrol,mobil?

It's upto you everyone has thier own preferences e.g. Millers, Mobil, Carlube.

A lot of people use Millers I think, my last oil change I used Mobil 3000 think thats correct.

Thanks matey, but i got a lad i know in heswall to do it for me. When i was looking for what oil to get theres bloody loads to choose from. The top end stuff is all pretty much the same quality, well at least thats what i was told.

Ok cool.

Am not to sure on the difference between the top makes, all I know is as long as its 5w 40 fully synthetic and not from tesco it should be ok.

yeah 5w40 fully synthetic, whats more important than the brand you choose is the oil change intervals - if you are changing at every 5-6k then IMHO its much less important
