The more you spend usually the better you get.
If you keep the temps down any oil should be fine so long as its the right spec.
I'd personally stick silkline pro in for normal road use and Miller for track day use.
Halford own stuff or Vauxhall stuff is fine for normal road use but I'd chnage it ever 3k or so if you drive it hard.
