Performance, comfortability, looks etc

What one and for what reasons???

Been looking on trader and you can pick both up for 6.5 to 7k so roughly same price but the cup are few and far between but then so are the flame 172's. ;)

Intrested in anyones opinions specially anyone who has owned both.

^ Jay you have PM...I mind i never sent you one bak last time.

*Edit* Actually you don't coz ur PM's are full!!! Argh Damn you! ;)

  Lux'd Glacier White R26
FF imo..Xenon's rule, and with that you can potentially get cruise, together with leather, and AC!! Lol.

It depends on what you are looking for? Raw or Comfort?

Cup. I had a 172 and wish I'd had a Cup, if you intend to drive it hard the Cup is the better of the two in standard trim.

You lot and your xenon fixation, they light up less of the road than the standard lights lol they just look nice.

  Weeman sucks ****
Cup but then I would say that.

Try them both out and make your mind up that way.

btw you can get blue white bulbs that aren't far off xenons...problem solved lol.

and for equal performance once rollin...I know which i'd rather have.

On track, a cup is a lot more rewarding. If your just a commuter and occasional hard driver get the chubby one.

I was following a friend the other day and they commented that my Xenons out shone their normal lights, lol.

Like others have said - If you wanted creature comforts get the full fat, if you can live without them, and only care about the drive get a cup.

It depends how you will drive it. I know most on here, drive their sports hard. But personally i went for the CUP. My mate has a FF, and it just doesnt feel as sporty as the CUP. Its a bit softer ride, and to me doesnt give as much feed back from the road as the CUP does.

Its really down to if you want the leather or not really, but then you can buy that on ebay anyway, as you can also buy a cup spoiler and turini's if you were to buy the FF version.

So really it depends how much you drive like a loon down country lanes to be able to put up with the noiser, harder version.

  Renaultsport 172 Cup
Cup - without a shadow. Not nearly as many around. You don't see them shoot past every hour of the day!
